I’m for taking care of parents, but the harsh truth is Indian parents are worse than spoiled kids The entitlement despite being fucking losers in life is staggering Nobody talks about how fucked up Indian culture is in this regard Indians aren’t tired or bragging about how children here don’t abandon their parents like they do “in the West” But they’re totally oblivious to how the parents devour their children’s lives being dependent AND controlling To all parents: If your children are taking care of you, be grateful to have virtuous kids But to take credit for their upbringing is a height of arrogance. If you were a good parent, your children would be living their dreams instead of being tied to your fate
