Cheat code 3, never be cocksure about anything I believe that we live in a computer simulation, and life is literally like a video game. I’ve found some cheat codes that have transformed my life. I shared two of them in the previous videos. Here, I’m going to share the third one: Never be cocksure. Never be too sure about anything. Because if we’re living in a simulation—if this is really a video game—then the very design of life is to present us with puzzles, problems, and quests. The purpose is to ensure we never fully figure it out. Because the moment you figure everything out, the game ends. There’s no challenge anymore. So you can’t be too sure about any knowledge or understanding you have about the world. You can’t be sure you’ve figured a person out—that this person will never betray you. The moment you’re sure, the universe will smack you in the face, and that person will betray you. You can’t be sure that you’ve become so successful that nothing can bring you down. The moment you’re sure, the universe will smack you in the face and bring you down. You get what I’m saying? You can never be sure. Now, I don’t mean you shouldn’t have confidence. Have confidence—but don’t be cocksure about your achievements, about people, or about anything. Always keep some humility. You can never be sure that you’ve solved all the big problems of your life and that everything will now be smooth. The moment you’re sure of that, life will hand you another big problem. Once you thoroughly realize this and master applying this cheat code, you’ll always be ready for challenges and problems. I always say my life is awesome—but I’m also ready for the next problem. Because I know it’s going to come. And in fact, that excites me. New challenges and new problems mean new levels. It means I’m progressing. It means I’m succeeding in the game. Now, to benefit from these cheat codes, you don’t necessarily have to believe we live in a computer simulation. But if you do believe that, it makes the game even more fun.
