A man should not cry. Especially in front of his woman, especially in front of his family. And I’ll die on this hill Let’s understand why I’m saying this. What does crying mean? When does someone cry? It’s when they don’t know what else to do. When the pressure is tremendous and there is no solution is sight, that’s when one cries. Crying is a surrender of agency. It’s a break-down of will Crying simply means breaking down You know, when women break down, men would save them. But a man is supposed to be the rock for his woman and family. When a man cries, it signals the rock has crumbled The crying man has failed his family. Who will the family look to for strength now who will make them feel safe? Men shouldn’t cry—not because of “toxic masculinity,” but because signaling such collapse does a great disservice to their loved ones Now you might ask, so what should a man do if his circumstances get too tough to handle. Well, man up. And Man up more. Go to the gym, punch walls scream off of a mountain. Do what it takes to regain sanity. Understand that no one is coming to coddle you. Just man the fuck up!
