I eat with hands like most Indians, it’s healthier and more satisfying. I get that some find it gross, and I’ll use silverware around them out of courtesy. But honestly, being so offended by hand-eating is taking “civilization” a bit too far imo What else are you going to be offended by? Walking barefoot on grass? Eating fruit straight from the tree? Sitting on the floor to eat? Drinking water from your cupped hands at a spring? All perfectly natural, satisfying things that somehow get labeled as “uncivilized”
