My disillusionment with women and love aside, another reason I don’t wish to marry and have a family is, I have begun to realize that the only way for me to survive with meaning and fulfillment in this insane rush (especially of our times) is to live being a public philosopher. And it’s best for the person of ‘public’ goals not to have private life (family responsibilities, etc.) that may force compromise on either side.
