India is starting to seem like the most backward large country in the world, and I don’t mean that as an exaggeration. Yes, countries like Bangladesh and Pakistan may be more backward in certain ways, but they are much smaller countries. India should not be comparing itself to them at all, yet many Indians do, which itself reveals a small mindset. India is actually more comparable to Africa in terms of scale and diversity. Africa is considered backward by many, but it is a continent made up of dozens of small countries, whereas India alone is so massive and internally diverse that each state is almost like a separate country. What’s striking is that there are more Indians living across Africa than Africans living in India. That should be a wake-up realization for delusional Indians who genuinely believe India is somehow superior to Africa. Even Africa, despite all its problems, appears to be a more attractive place to live and work than India is. India’s delusion of grandeur is the fundamental reason for its stagnation and decline. When you think you're a “vishwaguru” already, how could any development happen?
