Ask the dietician: With regards to bodyfat which is the culprit, bread or butter? If the dietitian says butter, you need to fire her. The point is, one needs to get rid of carbs, not fat, from their diet if weight loss is the aim. People didn't get fat because they overfed on fat. They got fat overfeeding on carbs/sugar. Bread is plain carbs that turns into sugar that turns into fat in the body. It's also non satiating simple carbs resulting in overeating. Butter, otoh, is satiating and slow digesting food which is hard to overeat. And rich in healthy nutrients.
